a freelance writer
and editor from rural
Cheshire, England.
She moved to Shanghai
after spending five years
in Dubai, where she
worked as Deputy Editor
of Spinneys FOOD and
Jumeirah International
magazines. Specialising in
food and luxury lifestyle,
she spends as much time
in the kitchen as she does
in restaurants and splits
her downtime between
family in Argentina and
the UK.

In 1996 he led the first
foreign expedition into
Borneo’s ‘valley of the
spirit world’ and has since

to what he calls the
world’s most diverse
country. He is currently
writing in Bali.

Samantha has written for

are still both Indonesia
and Vietnam, where she
divides her time between

Finland, Ari spent his
childhood playing next
to a lake, running around
in forests and dreaming of
adventure. He got his first
taste of adventure when he
flew to Spain one summer
and hitchhiked across
Europe to get back home.
With over a decade of
experience as a lighting
professional in Finland,
Estonia and Russia, in 1998
he decided to explore
Indonesia, where he fell
in love with Bali, Sumba
and photography.
