She moved to Shanghai after spending five years in Dubai, where she worked as Deputy Editor of Spinneys FOOD and Jumeirah International magazines. Specialising in food and luxury lifestyle, she spends as much time in the kitchen as she does in restaurants and splits her downtime between family in Argentina and the UK. Shanghai, China Mark Eveleigh has been published by more than 80 titles including The Sunday Times, Esquire, Africa Geographic and National Geographic. In 1996 he led the first foreign expedition into Borneo’s ‘valley of the spirit world’ and has since returned about 15 times to what he calls the world’s most diverse country. He is currently writing in Bali. Bali, Indonesia Brit Samantha waved bye-bye to her native London in 1998 and has had a most excellent adventure decamping to Australia, Indonesia and Vietnam – where she lived for a decade. Samantha has written for numerous international publications, and is the author of two Vietnam travel guidebooks. Her main inspirations are still both Indonesia and Vietnam, where she divides her time between work and play. Bali, Indonesia Pam Mandel is a new-media junkie who likes coffee, mochi, the ukulele, low tide and travelling with her Austrian husband. She's been to all seven continents and remembers exactly what penguins smell like. He got his first taste of adventure when he flew to Spain one summer and hitchhiked across Europe to get back home. With over a decade of experience as a lighting professional in Finland, Estonia and Russia, in 1998 he decided to explore Indonesia, where he fell in love with Bali, Sumba and photography.
