The year 2013 has thus far proven to be a
milestone for Garuda Indonesia with regard to
our continued efforts and commitment to
expand our domestic and international
network as well as our fleet.
In addition to the 24 new aircraft that we have
acquired from Boeing, Airbus and Bombardier,
Garuda Indonesia will also receive two
turboprop ATR 72-600 aircraft of the 35 total
aircraft ordered to arrive in stages up to 2017.
Our new ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft have a
seating capacity of 70 passengers and are
intended to service short-haul flights. Outfitted
with modern and efficient technologies, these
new aircraft will provide and maintain a level
of comfort synonymous with the Garuda
Indonesia Experience, just as the other fleet
types that we operate.
