Art Jog 2018, Yogyakarta, May 4 – June 4
The 11 th edition of Art Jog, at the Jogja
National Museum, will delve into the theme
of enlightenment. Beginning with the
intellectual and philosophical movement
that gave birth to rationalism, ideals of
liberty, separation of religion (church) and
state, as well as exploring moments of
enlightenment that have occurred
throughout history, and the ways art
interacts with and reflects them.

Art Jog ke-11 di Jogja National Museum
kali ini mengambil tema pencerahan, yang
berawal dari gerakan para intelektual dan
filosofis di Eropa sehingga melahirkan
gagasan rasionalisme, kedaulatan manusia,
dan pemisahan negara dengan agama
(gereja). Art Jog juga berusaha mengangkat
momen pencerahan yang terjadi menurut
sejarah, serta bagaimana seni berinteraksi
dan merefleksikan sejarah tersebut.
FESTIVAL
TEDxUbud 2018 is focused on exploring the
notion of the tangible and intangible. Taking
place at Njana Tilem Museum, the event’s
speakers will unveil the secrets of the Komodo
dragon’s blood in the fight against antibiotic
resistance, as well as other topics, including
cross-cultural immersion and its role in
changing minds and developing tolerance,
Torajan ceremonies and much more.

The annual Jailolo Bay Festival in
Halmahera celebrates the island’s historic
glory as the world’s former spice capital.
The three-day event showcases the island’s
natural beauty, cultural wealth and unique
traditions, including the Orom Sasadu
harvest ritual and the Sigofi Ngolo sea-

Festival Teluk Jailolo di Halmahera
diselenggarakan untuk mengangkat kejayaan
