Tin Hau Temple, Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong

In Asia, Tin Hau, goddess of
the sea, is revered by anyone
whose life is tied to the sea. Tin
Hau Temple in the middle of
urban Yau Ma Tei may seem an
odd location, but before massive
land reclamation the temple was
on the harbourfront.

Di Asia, Dewi Laut Tin Hau
dikenal tak dapat tinggal jauh
dari laut. Letak kuil yang berada
di tengah daerah perkotaan, Yau
Ma Tei, ini memang terkesan
janggal, tetapi sebenarnya
sebelum dibuat reklamasi, kuil
ini berada dekat laut.
