LAUNCHES DIRECT FLIGHTS
TO JEDDAH
Dear Valued Customers,
In line with our efforts to consistently expand
our flight network, we are proud to present
our new non-stop route from Surabaya to
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which commenced
on April 13, 2014.
Due to our aim to always provide our customers
with more extensive access and greater service,
at the first stage, we are currently operating
non-stop flights from Surabaya to Jeddah three
times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and
Sundays – although as we develop the route
further, we are planning to increase the flight
frequency to four times weekly.
With the introduction of this new route, we
hope our valued customers – especially those
who are planning an Umrah pilgrimage from
their base in East Java – will enjoy greater
comfort and convenience when flying seamlessly
to Saudi Arabia, as they will no longer have the
inconvenience of a stopover to reach Jeddah.

In addition to this new Surabaya route, starting
in May 2014, we will also launch additional
non-stop flights to Jeddah from both our hubs
in Medan and Makassar.
Furthermore, we are glad to inform you that
recently, we have successfully held the “Garuda
Indonesia Travel Fair” in Jakarta in April 2014,
while further events are being held at other
cities across the archipelago. At this renowned
annual travel fair, we offered a multitude of
attractive, specially discounted rates and
competitive tour packages, to enable our valued
customers to plan their upcoming trips with us
ahead of the school holidays and Eid al-Fitr.
