Sydney Opera House
Sydney Harbour Bridge and the
Sydney Opera House are two icons
of Australia and likely the most
photographed pieces of architecture
in the country. I was thrilled to finally
get my chance to shoot them both in
IR. I took this shot with my very first
self-modified IR camera, and finished
with some final touches in postproduction. I used channel swap to get
the desired level of blue. I shot this on
my first trip to Sydney. It was winter,
and thus quite overcast, but I was happy
with the result – I like to use trees in
composing my shots.
