What did you have for breakfast today? Perhaps you had it right
here on the plane, or at the airport? Believe it or not, what you
usually have for breakfast might be completely different from what
a child on the other side of the world has.
Apa menu sarapan kamu hari ini? Mungkin tadi kamu sarapan
di atas pesawat, atau di bandara? Percaya atau tidak, menu
sarapan kamu bisa jadi berbeda jauh dengan menu sarapan
anak-anak yang tinggal di belahan bumi lain.

In Japan
Rice isn’t just a dish for lunch or
dinner: it’s also seen on the breakfast
table, served perhaps with omelettes,
nori (dried seaweed), salmon and
miso soup – all savoury dishes.
Nasi bukan hanya makanan untuk
makan siang atau malam: nasi biasa
dijumpai saat sarapan, disajikan
bersama telur dadar, nori
(rumput laut kering), salmon dan
sup miso—dan semuanya

In Norway
Children will often eat meats such
as ham, salami and beef. Bread is
often eaten together with a brown,
sweet goat’s cheese called brunøst
(brown cheese), smoked salmon and
hard-boiled eggs.
Anak-anak di negara ini makan
daging untuk sarapan, seperti ham,
salami dan daging sapi. Roti pada
umumnya dimakan bersama dengan
keju manis berwarna cokelat yang
disebut brunøst, ikan salmon asap
