Dear Valued Customers,
January 27, 2015, was undeniably one of the
most historic moments for Garuda Indonesia,
because it was on this exact date that Garuda
Indonesia was officially named as a 5-Star
Airline by Skytrax, a UK-based independent
commercial aviation research firm.
Attaining a 5-star rating – which is firm
recognition of the committed efforts and
wholehearted hard work from all of our
dedicated employees – has certainly become
a major milestone and added significant value
not only for us as the nation’s flag carrier,
but also for Indonesia and the country’s
aviation industry as a whole.
With this achievement, Garuda Indonesia
now joins the limited ranks of only seven 5-Star
Airlines in the world, alongside the likes of
All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Cathay
Pacific Airways, Hainan Airlines, Singapore
Airlines, and Qatar Airways.
We are truly honoured to receive this
prestigious award, so at this opportune
moment, on behalf of Garuda Indonesia,
I would like to thank all of Garuda Indonesia’s
stakeholders, including all of you – our most
valued customers.
Nevertheless, being recognised as a 5-Star
Airline has not made us complacent. In fact,
it has invigorated and inspired us to challenge
ourselves to improve even further and provide
the best possible services for our passengers,
consistently and continuously. We will not
simply rest on our laurels, but we will further
develop our services to ensure that all of our
customers continue to feel the excitement
as we embark on this journey together.
Lastly, we would like to thank all of our
loyal customers for your trust and continued
support as we aim to improve and fly even
higher from one milestone to another in
our quest to strengthen our position at the
