Jez O’Hare moved
to Indonesia with his
family in 1973 and became
an Indonesian citizen in
1995. Since then he has
been a professional
photographer and
amateur pilot,
specialising in aerial
and location photography
of Indonesia. His work
has been published in
several magazines and
books, including 17,000
Islands of Imagination by
Afterhours Books in 2015.

based in Jakarta.
Beginning her career
in 2009, she has had

Post. Fascinated by how
the sharing of food relates
to personal history,
community and culture,
she is on a prodigious
quest to experience
unique cuisines in all
corners of the world.

the UK, David Burden
has been living full-time
in Bali for more than
10 years, photographing
a range of subjects –
everything from food and
restaurants to travel and
editorials. He has
travelled extensively
around the archipelago
on the hunt for waves,
new places and smiley
faces, but always makes
at least two trips to East
Sumbawa each year to
take some time out
and stock up on the
local honey. Zulkifli was born in
Kerinci and began teaching
himself photography in
2009. He currently works
as a freelance documentary
photographer and writer.
He has been published in
The Guardian, The
Washington Post, Los
Angeles Times, Der Farang
and National Geographic
Traveler Indonesia. He is
one of the founders of
Sore Rabu Project, a
photography discussion
class in West Sumatra.

been based in Asia since
2004. His photography
and writing have been

and he recently made
his television debut as
a judge on the History
