Message from the Chief
As your Police Chief with over 26 years of dedicated service, I am honored to serve and lead this department, which is committed to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all individuals in our community. Our primary mission is to protect and serve with commitment, integrity, and professionalism for all people. I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the trust you place in us every day and share some key values that guide our work.
Our department remains dedicated to our commitment to community policing— building strong, positive relationships with the people we serve. We understand that meaningful partnerships with the community are essential for making our neighborhoods safer and stronger. We listen, we engage, and we act in ways that promote transparency, accountability, and mutual respect.
We also acknowledge that the challenges we encounter in law enforcement are complex and continually evolving. It is our duty to continue adapting, growing, and improving. This involves enhancing our training, emphasizing de-escalation strategies, and leveraging technology to assist in solving problems efficiently. We are committed to providing professional and compassionate services while holding ourselves to the highest standards.
Transparency is essential, and we are dedicated to keeping you informed. We will keep sharing updates about our efforts, addressing your concerns, and collaborating with you to resolve any issues that arise. Our doors are always open for dialogue, and we encourage you to reach out with any questions, ideas, or feedback.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we can build a safer community where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Thank you for your continued support. We are honored to serve you.
