Scott Selvek (Police) was chosen as the Wake County Crisis Intervention Team Officer of the Year. Adam Wolfe (Police) was awarded a Life-Saving Award for his part in saving the life of a man who had overdosed, as well as another man who attempted suicide. Chris Clayton, David Casteline, Shaun Curry, Grant Davis, Caleb Meyers, Hunter Miller, Kevin Pena, Richard Roach, Trey Robinson, Tyler Rose, and Bert Walker (Police) were awarded a Departmental Unit Commendation for their work in investigating several major high-profile cases over the past year. The Traffic Safety Unit (Police) consisting of Sgt. Chris Adams, Greg Holding, Patrick McGuire, Skyler Reeve, Will Simpson, and Adam Wolfe set a new Department record for earning the Governor’s Highway Safety points in a year.
