Celebrate Latino culture at this free family-friendly event . The Festival will feature live music and dance performances , artisan vendors , food trucks , a kids ’ zone , and more ! Trick or Treat the Trail
Trick-or-treat your way around White Deer Park ’ s one mile loop trail . Come dressed in your best costume and don ’ t forget your candy bucket ! Local businesses and organizations will be passing out treats , a creepy crawlies exhibit will be featured in the Nature Center , and food trucks will be on site for purchase . Parents must accompany children at all times . Pets are not permitted . This is a free family-friendly event ; please no horror or gore .

Celebrate the men and women who have served our country in the armed forces . Enjoy music by the Garner Magnet High School band and a keynote address . This free event is co-sponsored by the Garner Veterans Advisory Committee . |
Big Sweep / Litter Sweep
Help keep Garner clean and green by removing litter from our parks , roadways , and streams . Volunteers should wear close-toed shoes and bring drinking water and sun protection . Clean-up equipment will be provided . Report to the Holly Shelter to receive equipment . Pre-registration is strongly encouraged . On-site registration begins at 8:45am .

Holiday Block Party

This free family-friendly event features holiday kids ’ crafts , food trucks , games , music , and more . The Garner Express train ride will take guests on a trip around the outdoor walking trail , and when Santa Claus joins the party , be ready for those family pictures !
