Make a Scene : Generation Improv !
In this class , it ’ s OK to make a scene ! Using fun theater games and exercises , participants will develop skills used in improvisational theater . Students will strengthen their funny bones and build their abilities to think on their feet , go with the flow , craft a well-structured story , and work collaboratively and creatively with others . The class culminates in a performance that will use audience suggestions to create an original fairytale , complete with random costumes and never-before-seen props . It ’ s time to unleash the joy of imagination and improvisation ! Location : Garner Performing Arts Center

Outdoor Explorers Club
Drop off those budding naturalists for a morning of exciting adventures in nature ! Participants will hike through nature trails , get their hands muddy , and get their feet wet in the streams of White Deer Park to see what wildlife they can find . Wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get wet and dirty . Location : White Deer Park Nature Center

Interested in becoming a citizen scientist ? Join the ecoEXPLORE program ! Participants will go on guided field hikes , complete challenges , and earn Field Season Badges . Youth must attend with an adult and bring a device for taking photos and making observations . Location : White Deer Park Nature Center

Nerf Battle
Enjoy a fun afternoon of Nerf Battles . Participants will be divided into teams to play games such as Capture the Flag , Humans vs Zombies , and more . Each participant needs to provide his / her own blaster ( see below for guidelines ). Safety goggles and darts will be provided . Only approved Nerf blasters will be allowed for game play . Location : Garner Recreation Center Field . Rain Location : Garner Recreation Center Gym Acceptable blasters must follow these guidelines :
• Blasters must be compatible with Nerf Elite Darts .
• Blasters should not hold more than 16 darts at one time .
• Blasters must only project one dart at a time .
