Groundhog Day
Hear the groundhog’ s official prediction for an early spring or six more weeks of winter. See live animals, visit educational booths, meet Smokey Bear, enjoy storytime on the stage, and much, much more! The groundhog will deliver their prediction to the Mayor on stage at noon.

Spring Eggstravaganza
Enjoy games, kids’ crafts, music, food trucks, and more at this free family event. Be sure to bring your camera for a picture with the Bunny! Egg hunts are for ages 0-12. Be sure to arrive early enough to get a spot. Pets are not permitted.

Independence Day Celebration
Mark your calendars for a free evening of fun for the whole family. Enjoy delicious food and great music while your children play in the kids’ zone. Top it all off with a headlining performance by the North Carolina Symphony and the best fireworks show in the Triangle! The following are not permitted: pets, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, grills, fireworks / sparklers, tailgating, tents / canopies / large umbrellas, drones, hoverboards, and soliciting.

Memorial Day Observance
Honor those who have died while serving our country in the armed forces. Guided tours of the Garner Veterans Memorial will be conducted before the event and after its conclusion. This free event is co-sponsored by the Garner Veterans Advisory Committee. Attendees should bring their own seating.
