HORTILUX uses proprietary chemistry in their arc tube.

HORTILUX to provide lamps that are design specifi cally
for the grow markets. The HORTILUX DE has many unique
features, including the Twin Coil Suspension™ (TCS™) that
centers the arc tube inside the lamp both horizontally as
well as vertically. This allows the lamp to naturally expand
and contract without stress during the heating and cooling
