River canyons provide rugged training grounds for leadership development . The American West offers beautiful waterways to explore , with a variety of difficulty levels for challenging participants of all skill levels . You will receive coaching in whitewater rafting and kayaking from knowledgeable instructors . You will earn valuable certifications and leave the program on your way to working in the whitewater industry ( or just feeling confident to lead your own adventures after the course !). All experiences are crafted with explicit opportunities for students to take on leadership roles .
KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS You will have the opportunity to earn a Swift Water Rescue Technician certification .
