Early Gaming Edition
1. One of Atari’s games - called Adventure - contains the first ever easter egg. It is possible to find it by going inside the black castle’s catacombs (on difficulty level 2 or 3). Embedded in the south wall of a sealed chamber (accessible only with the bridge), is an "invisible" 1-pixel object called the Gray Dot. The player must bounce the player cursor along the bottom wall to grab the dot. The dot is not actually invisible, but is actually the same color as the wall and is easily seen when placed in a catacombs passage or over a normal wall.. Bringing this dot to the east end of the corridor below the Yellow Castle while other differently colored objects are present causes the wall object to also become 'invisible', allowing the player to pass into a room displaying the words "Created by Warren Robinett" who was the producer of the game.

2. In Pokemon Red there is a glitch in which it is possible to fish in any of the statues in the game. However, you can’t actually catch anything. Another glitch can be found by talking to the old man north of Viridian city. Let him teach you how to catch a pokemon and then fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf to the east coast of the island then surf along the coastlines. You may encounter the glitch pokemon Missingno.
