After everyone had received theirs the test had started. Jesse knew he wouldn’t be able to get the answer sheet if Mr. Sum was still in the room, but his luck had made it possible. Mr. Sum had to leave the room for five minutes which gave him enough time to get to his desk and open the drawer with all the test answers… but the answers for the finals weren’t there. He checked every drawer but couldn’t find it. Then his luck started going downhill, the door opened and Jesse scrambled back to his desk unnoticed but he had forgotten to close the desk drawer. Mr. Sum noticed this and raised his voice.

“ALRIGHT, WHO IS OPENED THIS DRAWER! IS SOMEONE TRYING TO CHEAT?”

Nobody answered. He yelled again.

“I SAID WHO IS TRYING TO CHEAT?”

No answer… Mr. Sum was now in a complete rage. He hated cheaters, especially one that don’t fess up.

“HEY! WHO IS TRYING TO CHEAT?”

Now his yelling had worked, someone stood up but it wasn’t Jesse. He walked out of his box and walked up to Mr. Sum. It was Jeremy. He was sobbing as he handed the test answer sheet to Mr. Sum. Jesse was surprised as he watched Jeremy limp back to his chair. Jesse then started his test, it was long and gruelling but he completed it and was happy with what he had done. He had completed a test without cheating and the previous tests had provided him enough knowledge be able to complete it.

When the results came out, he was shocked to get a 73%, in his eyes it was amazing since it was his first test completed without using someone else’s answers. He had also noticed that Jeremy was surrounded by a group of kids including Christian and Pete so he went up to them and asked what was going on.

“Jeremy owes you an apology,” said Christian.

“Yeah, I’m really sorry Jesse… I let my jealousy get the best of me. I always wanted fame but I jumped into something I knew was wrong. I tried to be someone I’m not,” said Jeremy

“No problem man, it’s ok. It’s really my fault. I’m sorry for your loss on the test. Combo, Skinny let’s go,” said Jesse.

“Bye guys,” said Jeremy

“Bye Jeremy,”

As the three walked away, Jesse threw a paper airplane over his shoulder. It landed in front of Jeremy; he picked it up and unfolded it… It was the answers sheet and in the corner was written…

Snake Eyes
