Brandon’s
Ryan White Has a
Shot at the
Stanley Cup
It’s been a pretty incredible year for Brandon’s Ryan White.
He was with the Philadelphia Flyers when the 2015-16
season ended, but in July, he signed a free agent deal with
Arizona. After wallowing near the bottom of the league with
the Coyotes this season, he was dealt to the Minnesota Wild
at the trade deadline. White has gone from playoffs in
Philadelphia last spring to near-last place in Arizona this
winter to Cup favorite in Minnesota this spring. Talk about
a roller coaster ride.

f you were to tell Brandon’s Ryan White that midway
through the 2016-17 NHL season he’d be heading into
the Stanley Cup Playoffs as a Cup favorite, he’d have
probably thought you’d lost your mind.
Playing for a dismal Arizona Coyotes team that has
performed disappointingly, at best, this season, White
found himself falling into the habits of a bottom feeder.
Strapped for talent, the Coyotes – under 27-year-old Gen-
eral Manager, John Chayka -- have relied on a younger
core of players to help get the job done.
As a 28-year-old, White found himself playing as a
