Barrett Paulsen, the Director of Community Relations for True
North Sports and Entertainment, is never surprised with the
popularity of the Winnipeg Jets Reading Takes Flight program.
Well, to be frank, he might have been surprised this year.
“We received more than 2000 applications this year,” said
Paulsen, still a little shaken by the growing popularity of the
program. “That’s the most we’ve ever received.”
Paulsen was only surprised by the numbers. He is not surprised
by the actual popularity of the program.
