At the 2017 National
Hockey League Entry
Draft in Chicago back in
June, Winnipeg’s Nolan
Patrick was selected
No. 2 overall by the
Philadelphia Flyers while
Winnipeg’s Cody Glass
was taken with the sixth
pick by the brand new
Vegas Golden Knights. It
wasn’t a history making
draft for Manitoba hockey,
but it was definitely
exciting and it sure said
something about the
Winnipeg Thrashers
Midget program. Two of
the Top 6 NHL Draft Picks
were former Thrashers
