EDITOR-IN-CHIEF/CO-PUBLISHER Scott Taylor Welcome to the new Game On Magazine I n case you haven’t noticed already, Game On, Manitoba’s Hockey Magazine, is bigger, better and a whole lot brighter. After five years, we all knew it was time for a change. As the experts say, if you aren’t changing, you aren’t getting better and it’s always been our goal here at Game On to get consistently better. So we have a new designer, a new brighter look and a broader, more diverse focus on the coverage of Manitoba hockey – something that was already broader and more diverse than any other hockey publication or website in all of Canada. From the community outreach of the Jets and Moose to the brilliant play of the Pembina Valley Hawks female midgets and the Monarchs male bantams, we do our very best to cover it all. In this issue you’ll meet pros such as Johnny Lazo and Dylan McIlrath and juniors such as David McDonald and Whitney Scott. We’ve always tried to get to everyone who plays and yes, it’s still our goal -- we’re still working on it. So a brand new hockey season is upon us and Game On Magazine will be all over Manitoba this year, bringing you the stories of our best and brightest. So sit back and enjoy.
