NICK FINNSON

The Finnson family came from Riverton, Man., and forged a name for itself on the rinks of Portage and Winnipeg. Dad, Larry Finnson, played with the Terriers in the 1980s and went on to create internationally-loved candy treats. His sons Kristjon with the MJHL’ s Winnipeg Blues and Nick with the AAA Interlake Lightning, are keeping the Finnson name alive. For this tight-knit group, hockey is definitely a family affair.
