Jonny Hooker likes to gamble on the ice. It’ s not surprising since most gifted goal scorers do that. However, Hooker wasn’ t going to gamble with his hockey career. While many thought he took a big chance leaving AAA Midget to play for the RHA Nationals, Hooker knew from Day 1 that this was a calculated decision designed to make him a better hockey player.
