ecause we have so
many people on
staff at Jets Hockey
Development who
know exactly what’s
going in the local
hockey world, we know that
the hockey season can be long.
Especially if your team
goes all the way. However, we
also know that some players
want to play all year round
and with that in mind, Jets
Hockey Development has
many different options for
all players and skill levels in
order to continue improving
throughout the year.
Whether you’re looking for
practices and skill development
or flat-out competition, join
us this spring at JHD and see
how we can elevate your game.
FUTURE JETS
This year at Bell MTS
Iceplex we have five Future
Jets spring hockey teams.
Future Jets is open to players
born in 2009-2005 and our
Future Jets program has an
increase focus on individual

skill development and age-
appropriate team systems.
All teams will practice at
Bell MTS Iceplex and compete
in two local tournaments to
implement the skills they’ve
learned in the practice
sessions. Future Jets also
train where the pros’ train
at Focus Fitness, combining
team-building exercises
along with strength and
conditioning programs.
Just as an example, one of
the many highlights of success
occurred last spring, when
Coach Lee Stubbs helped a
dedicated Future Jets player,
who had been playing A1 the
previous season, make Bantam
2 AAA this year. Jets Hockey
Development is here to help
you elevate your game.
There are still a few
spots available to join the
Future Jets this spring and
you’ll receive professional
coaching. In fact, Future
Jets teams are coached by
our highly-regarded JHD
professional coaches: Lee
Stubbs, Jeff Borse, Dean
Court and Jeff Sveinson.
PROGRAMMING
This year we have also
added program options for
players who want to customize
their Spring Training.
Programs are available
that will focus on either
development or as a way
to compliment spring
team practices and games.
Programs will work through
specific topics, which allow
players the necessary reps
for development and will
follow detailed progressions
to allow for improvement.
As players develop more
confidence in their own ability,
they’ll be able to contribute
more to their team and feel
more involved in the game.
These programs include; Power
Skating, Individual Puck Skills,
Forming Good Habits for
Forwards (Bantam and Midget)
and Developing Defensemen
(Bantam and Midget),
Coac hing Seminars and
Private/Small Group Sessions.
Development programs
will be planned and coached
by Dave Cameron and the
experienced Jets Hockey
Development team.
