MEMBERS OF THE THE IN-GAME PRODUCTION TEAM
“We’re all linked together with that incredible feeling of
being Jets fans and trying to win the Stanley Cup, and
trying to be a contender every year in the hopes that
one day we can have a parade. The unbelievable feeling,
knowing that Winnipeg is the Stanley Cup champion, I
think that drives every one of us.”
“As we all know, everybody has their opinion on the music they
like or don’t like,” Balharry laughed. “In the end, the question isn’t
what kind of music or what genre do you like. The question at a
sporting event is what fits at that moment? You don’t want people
saying, ‘Hey, I love that song.’ You want them feeling the moment
and listening to the soundtrack of that event.”
Most, if not all of the game production staff are Manitoba natives,
so while they’re working hard behind the scenes making sure
you’re entertained, don’t forget they are fans first and foremost of
the Jets and Moose.
“I think Blake Wheeler said it best at the (Dale Hawerchuk Hall of
Fame) luncheon when he said last year (True North) was bringing
the old and the new Jets together,” Balharry said. “We’re all linked
together with that incredible feeling of being Jets fans and trying
to win the Stanley Cup, and trying to be a contender every year in
the hopes that one day we can have a parade. The unbelievable
feeling, knowing that Winnipeg is the Stanley Cup champion, I think
that drives every one of us.”
