Logan Angers
Anika Curtis is completely fearless
WHY WE LOVE THIS GAME Meet Anika Curtis. She’ s 12 and is playing her first year of“ organized” hockey in the three-on-three league at the Winnipeg Winter Club. According to her father Spencer,“ She just loves the game.”
“ She skated a few years ago and did a year-or-two of figure skating so she’ s pretty good within the group,” said her dad.“ And it seems she’ s completely fearless. She has chosen to ignore the no bodychecking rule. LOL! You should just see her out there. It’ s her first year and she loves it.” That picture is why we love this game.
