THE BRIDGE PROJECT bridging the gap between brotherhood, R&B and Gospel music Curated by  LYDIA PIERRE Photo by  CLEARLY FOCUSED MEDIA WORKS The Bridge Project is a musical and visual documentary that displays the arcs and gaps, between three of Black Culture’s most foundational elements brotherhood, R&B, and Gospel music. Imagine your favorite R&B singer collaborating with your favorite Gospel singer to create a body of work, and action, that shifts the way we view music. Too long, have we separated each other with invisible lines that make us feel unsupported.  The Bridge Project: Brothers United is a movement of brotherhood, unity and community with the intent to redefine the “culture code” that men abide by.  The overall project is a 9-song album that highlights the struggles, triumphs, vulnerability, challenges ... make the man better, the family better and the community better. The 90-minute documentary is a labor of love for Parker, who took inspiration from his own background in coming up with the film’s concept.  “I grew up in the church, but I received an R&B record deal,” Parker says. “As I’ve navigated through the industry, I’ve noticed there’s a huge divide between the genres. I said, ‘I don’t want to live in this anymore.’ So, The Bridge Project tears the walls down and says these artists can co- exist.” GAME CHANGERS MAGAZINE| PAGE 16 53 national Gospel, R&B and Mainstream artists are involved on the project including: Q Parker, Tank, Jacquees, Ginuwine, Montell Jordan, Jonathan McReynolds, Deitrick Haddon, Todd Dulaney, Travis Greene, Byron Cage, Brian Courtney Wilson, Omari Hardwick, Mali Music, PJ Morton, Willie Moore Jr, Pastor Jamal Bryant, Avery Wilson and Musiq Soulchild and more! “I firmly believe that this film can place a spotlight on an issue that affects both the music industry and the black community at-large,” Parker says. “In these fractured times, artists can use their voices to preach a message of
