EDITOR'S NOTE
Another Year
It's incredible to be here after another year
of totally independent publication. Our
release schedule might have been a little
shaky, but that's not the fault of our
publisher, it's because only a handful of us
are here pumping out content.
GAMBIT is completely independent, and
because of that we are totally self-funded.
We do this because we love writing about
all things pop-culture. It's always a
challenge to get this magazine out on
time, especially with a website that churns
out daily content, and all our video
content. So every time someone buys an
issue, downloads the free digital edition, or
supports us on Patreon or Ko-Fi, we
couldn't be any happier.
2017 was a whirlwind year, but we are just
getting started! In 2018 we are planning to
expand our content into new areas,
starting with a few major interviews and
cover features that you won't find
anywhere else!
But before we take a few weeks off for the
holidays, we have our annual Holiday Gift
Guide issue to get out to reader just in time
for the shopping season. We sat down and
picked out the coolest gifts for this holiday
season, and since Black Friday is this
month, you might be able to find deals on
a lot of what we selected.
