GALE’S INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY is a full-line Industrial Distributor of hardware, tools and maintenance supplies to the MRO, Facilities Maintenance and Manufacturing markets. We are the only industrial distributor in the New York-New Jersey market with a full-service coatings department featuring Benjamin Moore, Benjamin Moore Industrial and Rustoleum products. Founded in 1938, Gale’s Industrial Supply operates from one location from which we serve the Metropolitan New York-New Jersey area. We offer a broad range of quality products and services, primarily from domestic manufacturers. Design and installation services are available for our material handling, storage and In-Plant office products. We represent brand names that our customers have come to associate with top quality and value. Our MISSION is: TO PROVIDE OUR CUSTOMERS WITH THE MOST EFFICIENT OVERALL COST OF ACQUISITION FOR THE QUALITY PRODUCTS THEY REQUIRE. We operate using a fully integrated Prophet 21 computer system driven by IBM RISC 6000 hardware. Our system supports all of our internal business functions as well as EDI, On-Site customer order entry, PC Interface, EFT and a variety of customized features for our customers. All of our systems are Y2K compliant. We are a member of Affiliated Distributors, the largest distributor network in North America. A-D, The Marketing Group, is comprised of over 347 independent distributors of Industrial, Electrical, Industrial PVF and Plumbing products with a collective sales volume of more than $20 billion. In conjunction with A-D, we offer a variety of flexible procurement solutions including Storeroom Management, Integrated Supply, Commodity Management, Procurement Card Purchasing and National Account participation programs. With these programs and more than 60 years of product application expertise, we offer our customers many value-added services, which help to reduce their procurement and inventory costs.
