GALAX Overclocking Carnival OC Lab 5th Anniversary | Page 19

for GOC, scores set but records broken at a single event. 2017 saw many more records broken at the competition, but that in no way takes away from what the contestants wer able to achieve in a short space of time and after a long and intense overclocking showdown. Looking to 2019, no word has been uttered about the competition, but if 2018 is anything to go by it should be a worthy follow up. With more time spent with the RTX cards, matured drivers and an overall more mature ecosystem, there’s no question that competitors and the subsequent records they break will surpass every single one set at this event. That however will have to wait, but until then, look out for qualifiers and naturally more HOF quality gear. GALAX ended the year on a high note, and in 2019 the scores will only get better as the bar has been raised. One would not be surprised if these performance milestones were improved once again by more HOF hardware. As a 10th anniversary GOC competition, this was an outstanding production and not only was it done in style but with arguably the best overclocking gear on the market right now.
