MEET THE TOUR GUIDES

By Sally Sexton
Moo & Bray may be operated by humans, but arguably, it’ s the animals that run the show. Here are just a few of the critters you can encounter in Whitesboro:
Squishy the yak
Character traits:— Comes when you call him.— A gentle giant who wants to be up in your business.— Not super fast but lopes along.— Hair is like that of an alpaca... he can’ t sweat so he pants like a dog.— LOVES the cold weather.— Originally comes from the Himalayas.
Albert, male tortoise
Character traits:— May hiss when startled but is very friendly.— Weighs about 124 lb.— Is 30 years old, with a life span of up to 150 years.— Has his own house with a heater and pond.— Comes out to greet when he hears you.— Not too impressed with cold weather.— African Sultanas are the third largest tortoise in the world.
Waffles and Sweets, Kunekune pigs
Character traits:— Known as“ pasture pigs,” meaning they don’ t root and tear things up. You can let them out and they eat grass.— Very friendly.— Identified by their smooshed faces, making them“ so ugly they’ re cute.”— Recently discovered their new playhouse, which they sleep and cuddle in.
