In Men’s Football the defending champions are Victoria
who accounted for Western Australia (WA) in the decider

this year.
make it count, while South Australia as well as Wellington
and Canterbury could be surprise packets also.
In Ladies Football the team to beat will be reigning champions NSW. They are going for a fourth title in a row this

Camogie also has three teams in defending champions
Queensland, along with last year’s runners-up NSW and
the Victoria team. The first two will be the favourites. They
had an extra time battle to decide the championship last
year and no doubt both will be eager again this time. Victoria though might pull a surprise in this one and so this is
yet another competition that is very hard to call.
Hurling features NSW, Victoria and the combo team of
Wellington and Canterbury. Defending champions Western Australia won’t be travelling and so that will see NSW
and Victoria, last year’s runners-up, as favourites. The local
combination side might have something to say about that
however.
