CAMOGIE
Three grades of Senior, Intermediate and Junior will grace
the field in Camogie. The premier Senior event sees three
teams in action – Hoboken invited from New Jersey, Chicago
St. Mary’s and Toroto. The Toronto sqaud are the runners-up
from last year and will want to go one better this time. The
Chicago and New Jeresy teams will be tough tests though.
There are six teams at Intermediate level and all six will feel
they have a chance of winning. The ones that might have the
edge here are the sides from Indy, Toronto, Vancouver, San
Fran and Atlanta. The latter side ranup in junior last time.
At Junior we have six teams with Hoboken again taking
part at this level. Ones to watch here should be Chicago,
Washington DC and the side from St. Louis who might be
10
the dark horse. Twin Cities and especially Seattle should
also feature.
HURLING
One of the biggest sectors is in Hurling with five grades
down for decision. The Senior grade with five teams will be
very competitive as it is each year. The Toronto, Chicago,
Vancouver, Western will all fnacy their chances but the Boston representatives of Tipperary will be the side to beat here
as they had a very strong run in their championship. The
Western and Toronto teams may provide the biggest challenge over the weekend. Four teams take part in the Junior
A Premier and they are from Boston NE, Indy, Vancouver
