CONTRIBUTING WRITERS:
Like anything new, great care and attention
to detail is needed if there are to be
positive results in the long-term and in this
issue of the magazine we feature a new
entity, a hurling entity in the country of
Germany that possesses all of the early
traits for success.
Catherine Fleming, Rory O’Donnell, Tommy Moran,
Cyril Iordanidis, Ronan Deane, Eamon Gormley,
Jamie Fitzsimons, Joe Trolan, Brian Clerkin,
John Simcoe.
Darmstadt GAA, a new hurling club at the
German college, Technische Universität in
Darmstadt, was formed last year but one
of the things that separate this club from
more Irish diaspora orientated hurling clubs
across Europe is that this one is all native,
all German.
Legal info.
The young German club played in its very
first hurling tournament last weekend and
did well. Its future looks good as this new
sport on campus is attracting attention in
this rich environment of fit young adults
eager to learn new things.
