BORDEAUX, FRANCE FRANCE FEDERAL - ROUND 2 MARCH 28, 2015 NAIVES & BORDEAUX (MEN’S) The second round of the Men’s 2015 France Federal Championships took place over two venues at the end of March with two new clubs as hosts. The wine country of Bordeaux in the southwest of France is home to one of the newest Gaelic Football clubs, Burdigala Gaelic Football. Founded in 2013, Bordeaux hosted teams on March 28th as part of Round 2 of the France Championships. Meanwhile, on the same day in the northwest the second instalment of Men’s Round 2 was taking place in Naives-Rosières. NAIVES Naives Team. Photo: Nava Gaelic Football Facebook. Paris A are the defending France Federal men’s football champions and were the team to beat in Naives-Rosières. Joining them in the fray in this second round were Clermont, Navies and another young club Lille. The Paris club were split into two teams Paris White & Blue. The Paris White team had won the opening round in February at Clermont and were again to the fore going unbeaten in the early rounds. Clermont who had finished a creditable 3rd place at their home tournament last time were also going well with wins over Lille, Paris Blue and Naives. The top two of Paris White and Clermont met in the final with Paris running out four point winners on a scoreline of Paris White 1-5 to Clermont’s 0-4.
