‘FAMILY DAY’ AT WILLAWONG GAA PARK, BRISBANE.

MARCH 8, 2015
It’s March Madness, not in terms of US college basketball, but rather activities of a Gaelic Sports
World nature. The month of March of course is that time of year when Irish people throughout the
world celebrate their culture courtesy of a certain St. Patrick but it’s also a time when it signals the
arrival of Spring and the first salvos of Gaelic Sports activity outdoors by GAA clubs globally.
Spring heralds new beginnings with opening tournaments and leagues, training as well as fun
and festive activity. The latter elements are important factors in building club, community and
sports enjoyment. The follow photography feature relays such instances in just a few corners of the
GAA World.
