SOCIAL EVENTS
As part of the GAA World Games there will be associated social events beginning on Thursday March 5th with
a GAA World Games Business Forum which focuses on
showcasing Irish business from both within the Gulf region
and from companies in Ireland. As well as this there will
be a special GAA Panel discussion with GAA pundits such
as Pat Spillane and former GAA commentator, Michael
O’Muircheartaigh, along with past referee and current chair
of the GAA’s Referees Committee, Pat McEnaney, GAA
Head of Games Development, Pat Daly (who will later give a
talk on the ‘Science of Sport’) and incoming GAA President
Aogan O’Fearghail, whose visit for the games will be one of
his first official duties as the new GAA head.
OPENING CEREMONY
On Friday March 6th in Day 1 of the GAA World Games

Ceremony at 9am at the Zayed Sports City Complex where
