“Picking the teams was always going
to be hard and we decided that we
would select one select team from all
the senior teams in this year’s men’s
and women’s FEXCO AGG” explained
Asia GAA Chairman, Joe Trolan. It
was hoped to have an intermediate
and junior mix with many non-Irish
involved but this team will now play
in the local Mid East league over the
weekend.
Asia Ladies 1 is made up of 7 Irish and
international players with half of the
panel of 12 from the Singapore club,
4 from Hong Kong, 1 from Shanghai
and another from Kuala Lumper.

Asia Ladies 2 also has 7 Irish, with 10 of the players from the
Singapore club, one of these Chun Ming, Goh (Ming) is a
native Singaporean, while there is also two Americans, one
Australian and one from England.
Asia Men in the World Games Cup by contrast are all Irish.
Again, the majority are from the Singapore club with 8,
Hong Kong 3 and one from Seoul. Trolan, who is the lone
representative from South Korea, thinks that Asian teams
