St. Louis’s Ancient Order of
Hibernians Hurling Team

The Hibernians hurling squad have been in fine form this year with a record of six wins and just the one
loss in the St. Louis Hurling League. They recently had another good win and look to continue their excellent
showing over the second part of the eight team competition and remain top of the St. Louis Hurling League
Leaderboard.
The AOH organization has been an official sponsor of the St. Louis GAA Club for the past four years and an
active part of the club since its foundation in 2003. This picture was taken on the day that the AOH set up a
tent to provide free water, beer, soda and hot dogs for the entire club and all spectactors. It is called “The AOH
Friends and Family Day” - A tradition for many years in the club.
St. Louis GAA is just over a decade old and began their Hurling Spring League four years ago. Back then six
teams took to the field but since then the club has enjoyed considerable local growth and recently added two
more teams into the competition.
