– JOE TROLAN Sports academic and GAA coach, Joe Trolan, questions coaches priorities when it comes to ‘Time Out’ from Gaelic Sports. As a coach your priorities can be teaching kids to learn the sport, to learn life lessons, and to win games. It is also your job to ensure that the children playing sports understand that they need time away from sport. Listening to adults who used to play sports, one of a number of complaints consistently was that GAA sports was too demanding; but it is not really that GAA sports are/is too demanding. The demand concern comes from the coac
