Darcy also spoke of the appeal of GAA games to non-Irish outside of Ireland. “Our games are unique but Gaelic football is a very easy game to play [and] very transferable across different sports. So, just because you’re not born in Ireland and not native to Gaelic football in particular, you can come and pick it up very easily, very quickly and [is a ] very good game to play,” remarked Darcy.
