Afterwards Mid East chairperson Kennedy gushed
with pride.
“A record 80 teams, one of the biggest tournaments in the
world is something to be very proud of here in the Middle
East,” he said.
“I thought the standard in the Camogie & Hurling was
excellent and some new Champions in the football as well
makes the rest of the League very exciting. We would also
like to wish the Bahrain Irish Society a Happy Anniversary
as they celebrate 40 years on the island this year and have
been instrumental in promoting our culture and our National Games down through the years.”
