CALLING ALL MALE PC SENEGAL VOLUNTEERS!!

Are you at a loss for how to get on board the GAD train? Can't figure out a way to squeeze gender work into your service? SeneGAD's got you covered! The month of November is reserved for SeneGAD's "Like a Woman" photo campaign...and we need your help, men of PC Senegal!

How, you ask? It's easy!

1. Take a photo of yourself doing "traditional" women's work or activities in your village (ex. doing your own laundry, carrying your own water, helping to pound corn/millet, carrying a baby on your back, cooking, etc.).

[PSST...this is also a great jumping-off point to discussing gender roles with your community, as they are sure to ask you what you're doing!]

2. Caption the pic with "_____...Like A Woman," making sure to fill in the blank with an adjective of your choice that goes along with the activity you're performing. (For example, carrying a bucket of water on your head could be captioned "Strong...Like a Woman," while doing laundry could be captioned "Hardworking...Like A Woman.")

3. Post it on your social media of choice (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) -- make sure to tag SeneGAD at @SeneGAD on Facebook and @senegadcommunications on Instagram.

4. Hashtag appropriately! #SeneGAD #LikeAWoman

5. Invite your family and friends back home to continue the conversation, and share your post and other PCVs' posts with your village!

Let's make November a month full of GAD inspiration! Happy snapping!
