Which follows the exploits of Office of Strategic Services, Officer Karl Fairburne learns as he partakes in the North African conflict during World War II of a secret wonder weapon programme by Nazi forces. The game improves on the mechanics of Sniper Elite V2. Large battlefield maps based in the North African conflict is where players go through. Players has a wide variety of weapons and accessories consisting out of submachine guns, pistols, hand grenades, tripwire booby traps, land mines, dynamites and the sniper rifle as the main primary weapon. Binoculars can be used to tag enemies in view, displaying their movement and position. Weapon parts are spread all over the game, allowing players to customize their weapon in the menu, where you are also able to do equipment load outs. Most of the stealth mechanics have been renewed. When a player is about to take a shot they must hold their breath in order to properly align up the shot. A red icon appears in the scope, marking the projection point of impact. Enemy soldiers also have a circle meter above their heads to indicate their alert status. An eye icon squints or opens to denote the players level of detection, players are also forced to constantly relocate to prevent detection, a white ghost image will mark the players last known position, thus the enemy will search a wider area.
