The game has been in development for 5 years prior to the May 2012 announcement. The Elder Scrolls Online is the first project of ZeniMax studios, which was formed in 2007. InAugust 2013 at Gamescon, it was announced that the Elder Scrolls online would have a monthly subscription fee upon release on all platforms and can be purchased in 30, 90 and 180 day increments. The game is set in the continent of Tamriel and features a storyline indirectly connected to the other games. The game is a millennium before the events of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and around 800 years before The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Daedric Prince Molag-Bal is the main antagonist as he attempts to meld the plane of Mundus with his realm of Cold harbour. Most of the continent of Tamriel is available in the game, although some of it is locked off for expansion content. Players can join any of three factions warring over the throne of the Emperor of Tamriel: the First Aldmeri Dominion. I am greatly excited about The Elder Scrolls Online game. I just wished there weren’t a monthly subscription fee. But all is well. I rate this game an 8 out of 10. -Zante’ Fouche’
