The 10th anniversary season at BB&T Ballpark is an amazing milestone to
celebrate, and the Winston-Salem Dash look forward to sharing it with YOU!
Starting on April 11, the Dash organization will kick off its 70-game home
schedule at the downtown facility. As the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the
Chicago White Sox and their talent-rich farm system, Winston-Salem is poised to
sport one of the most talented teams in Minor League Baseball.
Perhaps fitting for a season that will celebrate great baseball in the Triad,
the club will also be led by manager Justin Jirschele, who played for the Dash in
2014 and 2015.
The fun will not stop with the play on the field at Dash games! BB&T
Ballpark's promotional schedule for 2019 is jam-packed with great offers.
The Dash will feature the following day-specific events:
· Postgame fireworks after all 11 Friday home games (plus July 4th!)
· Postgame Kids Run the Bases, powered by New Balance Winston-Salem,
after all Friday, Saturday and Sunday games
· Lowes Foods Thirsty Thursday for all Thursday home games (discounted beer
specials)
· Free Food Mondays, where fans can enjoy free hot dogs and French fries
until 8:30 p.m., along with free corn dogs while supplies last, for the price of
admission for all Monday home games
· Taco Tuesdays, where fans can enjoy $2 tacos until 8:30 p.m.
The Triad community's unparalleled support for BB&T Ballpark has brought the
Dash organization to new heights. For the fourth time in the downtown facility's
history, Winston-Salem paced all 30 Class A-Advanced teams in total attendance
in 2018 by welcoming 292,774 fans. Meanwhile, the Dash was honored by
Baseball America last year as the Class A recipient of the Bob Freitas Award,
which recognizes the top overall operation at each level of the Minor Leagues.
