Francisco Nicolás González Díaz, Botschafter der Vereinigten Mexi-
kanischen Staaten in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, ist Absolvent
des Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Ferner studierte er
am Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores sowie an der Uni-
versity of Texas, Austin. Seine berufl iche Laufb ahn begann 1991 als
Geschäftsführer Finanzen/Controlling bei Arrendadora Financiera
Monterrey S. A., Mexiko-Stadt. Nach diversen leitenden Positionen,
u. a. im Ministerium für Handel und Industrieförderung, wurde Díaz im
Jahr 2000 Direktor für Innovation und Qualität bei der Mexikanischen
Entwicklungsbank »Nacional Financiera« (NAFIN). Daraufh in folg-
te im Jahr 2001 die Berufung zum Generaldirektor für Strategisches
und Planung im mexikanischen Innenministerium. Ab 2002 folgten
Stationen als Regionalleiter für die Länder Deutschland, Zentral- und
Osteuropa der Mexikanischen Außenhandelsbank BANCOMEXT im
Büro in Frankfurt am Main. Von Juli 2008 bis April 2010 wurde er Regi-
onaldirektor für Europa, Mittleren Osten und Afrika bei »ProMéxico,
Trade and Investment« in Frankfurt am Main. Seit Juni 2010 ist
Francisco Nicolás González Díaz Botschafter der Vereinigten Mexika-
nischen Staaten in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
Nathalie Girouard
OECD
Nathalie Girouard is the coordinator for OECD work on green growth
and sustainable development. She is overseeing the mainstreaming
of green growth work within the various Committees of the OECD to
ensure effi ciency and coherence of messaging across diff erent work
streams. She is also running the new OECD Green Growth and Sus-
tainable Development Forum, a multi-disciplinary dialogue aiming to
facilitate the sharing of policy analysis and experiences among coun-
tries and across sectors. She was responsible for the delivery of the
Strategy’s Synthesis Report to the May 2011 Ministerial Council Mee-
ting. Prior to her responsibilities for steering one of the Organisation’s
multi-disciplinary priorities bringing together the work of more than
25 Committees, Nathalie was advisor to the OECD Secretary-General,
co-ordinating the accession process of fi ve countries to the OECD. Nat-
halie´s career in the OECD spans over thirteen years in the Economics
Department. She was part of the team editing the OECD Economic
Outlook. She has published a number of working papers and OECD
documents on consumption and saving, housing markets and fi scal
policy. Nathalie is of Canadian nationality. Prior to her position at the
OECD, Nathalie belonged to the Research Department of the Bank of
Canada staff . She holds a MSc in Economics from Montréal University.
