Prior to her current position, Ms. Townsend, managed the real estate actions within the most complex Real Estate market in New York( e. g., Manhattan, Time Square, Penn Station, Harlem, China Town and Lower New York) for U. S. Army Corps of Engineer New York District.

S utalia was born and raised in the city of Chesapeake, Virginia where she graduated from Indian River High School class of 1980. She has worked hard and while achieving much during the past decade of her life. She enlisted in the U. S. Navy Reserves as Intelligence Specialist for five years. She holds a BS in Business Information Systems St. Leo College, a Masters of Business Administration( MBA) Regent University and currently is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration( DBA) from Walden University.

She is a Real Estate Specialist with the Department of Defense, Audit Process Management Directorate in Virginia. With seventeen( 17) plus years of commercial real estate experience, she is an Agency expert for real estate matters wherein the agency occupies / utilizes approximately 25,000 real estate / property assets at more than 500 locations world-wide. She supports efforts to improve the Agency’ s stewardship and its readiness for financial audit, and DoD initiatives such as Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness( FIAR). In addition, she deployed to Afghanistan in Operation Enduring Freedom in support of surge of troops an initiative supported by President Obama. She streamlined the management of leasehold estates and provided superior Support to the Army in the multi-national Afghanistan effort( Afghan government and local populace). Her work took her to areas remote from established bases where she performed her service under considerable duress. Ms. Townsend volunteered while in Afghanistan to support efforts to reestablish space for schools to ensure primary and intermediate students to continue their education,
She serve as a dedicated volunteer with Girl Scout Troop 329 in Chesapeake, VA and previously served as troop leader for Troop 497. Her awards include two Commander’ s Award for Civilian Service for Operation Enduring Freedom, Castle Award via U. S. Army Corps of Engineer, Certificate of Commendable Service via Defense Logistics Agency. She’ s active member with Easter Star Chapter 101? Queens of Judah( Virginia Beach),“ Girls on the Run” Hampton Roads campaign and a member / partner with Mount Church in Chesapeake, Virginia
