How safe are the student hostels in Engineering Colleges?
It depends on what you value. If you leave your room unlocked, you might come back and find:
1) Your beloved roomie playing FIFA on your laptop or Temple Run on your tab.
2) Your toothpaste and hand wash have gone amiss.
3) Your headphones and controller are missing and shouts emanating from the next room, "Mar mar saale ko. Aaj to injure kar ke rahenge."
4) Your water bottle, which you had painstakingly filled before going to class, is empty.
5) The snacks, which your mother had sent with her love, have vanished and there are incriminating crumbs all over your neatly made up bed.
6) Your books lying on your table as you had kept them (unless end-sems are approaching)
P.S. It's highly ironic that I am posting this from my friend's laptop,while he is taking a shower. So unless you are highly possessive about your stuff, I guess it won't be much of a problem if you don't lock your door.
